Four more Miami-Dade hotels gets 5-star rating

Well, all the stars came for 4 Miami-Dade hotels as Forbes Travel Guide unveiled their fifty-seventh list of some of the top hotels in the world on Wednesday.

5-star ratings went to Mandarin Oriental, Miami; Acqualina Resort & Spa in Sunny Isles Beach; the St. Regis Bal Harbour and The Setai in Miami Beach. Setai was all new to this list.

Florida had six 5-star hotels; the other 2 were in Naples and Palm Beach. Overall, there were hundred and fifteen top-class hotels this year worldwide. The Mandarin Oriental, located in Miami once again snatched a triple, garnering 5 stars for hotel and their restaurant, Azul, and spa. At the St. Regis and Acqualina, the spas also got 5 stars.

Only one other restaurant in Miami received 5-star status: it is Naoe, the high-end well known sushi spot located on Brickell Key.

Hotels in Miami came back to the list posted by Forbes Travel Guide, earlier known as the Mobile Travel Guide, in the year 2013 after being unpublished for over ten years. Acqualina and Mandarin Oriental, that year, both got some top honors; St. Regis Bal Harbor joined last year.

Meanwhile, weeks following all the travel restrictions to Cuba were pulled off, the JetBlue Airways has added more flights to Cuba. The airline company also introduced seasonal flights from Boston to Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
