Miami Marathon experiences coldest start

On Sunday, over twenty thousand runners hit the streets of Miami for the Miami Marathon. The 46 degree temperature during start time was the undoubtedly the coldest in the history of the race.

Speaking to a leading Miami based news house, the organizers of the race stated that over 3000 runners who had filed their name to take part in the popular marathon as well as half marathon missed the event as travel issues linked to the huge winter storm that hit East Coast earlier on Saturday.
